Very mystical

This is a very mystical and entrancing tune. I really like it. All the instruments blend well together and the melodies are hauntingly beautiful. I can definitely visualize this used in a movie. Great job.

Ending suggestion

Here's an idea I had when I was listening to it. At the end now, right after that cymbal, you continue for 4 bars with that same "tinkling" sound (sorry, I don't know the proper name for it - it wasn't the strings and it wasn't the snare, it sounded more like tiny bells) that you had at the end, then come back with the snare rhythm from 0:55 and for more effect have it loop twice. And boom, you've got yourself an ending.

At the very least, it's a continuation that you can use as a springboard if you wanted to extend the length, like if my idea was inspiring or something - just a thought. :)

Hope that helps! Once (if) this track gets done, I'd love to use it as background accompaniment to my demo reel. :D

Unbelievable

Absolutely epic trance (though more like hardcore than trance, methinks), a total floor-filler if there ever was one - all without any cheese in the tunes. You, my friend, have some REAL talent.

If you haven't already thought about doing this fulltime, you should. You're a natural.

My one nitpick is that I got the feeling that the ending sounds forced, like it wanted to continue, but you didn't have enough time to finish the track or something. So.. 9/10.

[Mario Castle Dance Remix]

Doh

I was completely intending to give this dope jam its full credit of 10 stars, but it ends so abruptly, as others have already pointed out. I just couldn't do it.

As a track though, I'm spellbound by it. You could definitely hear the Mario aspect of it, but I get the distinct feeling you remastered the entire thing from scratch, which is entirely admirable. And, even moreso given it's your first submission. :D

A for effort, I guess. Overall, it sounded lacking, and it kind of fell apart at the end there. Under other circumstances, I think I might have scored a 5 or 6, but I love both franchises, so it's a 7 from me. I'm not sure exactly how to improve on this, else I'd gladly give some constructive criticism. :-S

I think I'm getting a new favorite DJ to listen to, man. All your tracks are visceral and uplifting. They have an epic quality to them that's hard to describe but very easy to enjoy. I love it.

Bangin'!

This is what uplifting trance music is all about. The piano melody coupled with that bangin' bassline cannot fail to put you in a good mood - I should know; I was less than happy when I got home today, but I listened to this and before even halfway, I was bouncing in my chair.

I only wish it were longer. A track of this magnitude and quality deserves more time, imo. 10/10

Good start

I can't give a full 10 for it, considering it's just a draft/demo, but I can see that you got a pretty solid foundation to work from. The twisted "merry christmas" voice in the beginning and end are nice touches.

I'd like to see what direction this track ends up going. Good job so far.
